July 1, 2004 for the scheduling of all motions, applications,
special appointments in the Southwest Region other than in London
Family Court.
Two adjournments on consent are permitted. Any further adjournments
will be adjourned sine die returnable on 4 days’ notice
unless otherwise ordered by the presiding Motions Court Justice.
At the time of scheduling special appointments (long motions),
counsel must complete a Certificate of Readiness confirming they
are ready to proceed, the time required for the motion and whether
a court reporter is required.
Once the date has been assigned by the Trial Coordinator for
a special appointment, any adjournment requests must be spoken
to before a judge. The Trial Coordinator must be advised of any
adjournment requests and any settlements prior to the hearing
date. |
